Lawyers and Other Legal Experts

The Center relies on the Lawyers and Other Legal Experts Advisory Council for guidance in developing conference topics, recommending conference panelists, identifying potential subjects for drafting of best practices, and other advice on managing the Center.

The Center offers unique regularly scheduled forums for serious bench-bar collaboration resolving litigation problems affecting complex litigation, which address ediscovery, class action, and mass-tort MDL issues.  The Center holds three annual premier bench-bar conferences.  At every conference, 15 federal judges and 25-35 lawyers and other experts attend. The judges and 20 practitioners typically serve as panelists.

After the conferences, the Center forms volunteer teams of judges and lawyers, balanced as much as possible between plaintiff and defense, to draft best practices addressing issues raised at the conference, which become part of two compendia on class actions and mass-tort MDLs.

To be considered for membership on the Center’s Advisory Council, please submit a copy of your resume or bio and a brief statement of your interest to RabiejCenter@org. In-house counsel can apply for membership individually or on behalf of the company.

The Center is self-funding and relies on the generous donations of its supporters.  The annual commitment for Advisory Council membership is $2,000. Online payments can be submitted below. Payments are processed through STRIPE, a well-known provider.  A PCI-certified auditor has audited Stripe. Stripe is a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
