Best Practices
Rabiej Litigation Law Center
The Center with input from lawyers, judges, and other legal experts develops and publishes best practices and other guidance addressing issues and problems identified at its conferences and other events. After every Center event, volunteer teams are formed to draft best practices addressing issues raised at the conference. The drafting is done under the Center’s aegis with assistance from scholars who participated in the respective conferences. Every publication is thoroughly vetted and published for a period of 6 to 8 weeks for public comment.
The approved best practices addressing class actions and large MDLs are added to the Complex Litigation Compendium. Approved best practices addressing ediscovery are added to Ediscovery Standards. The Center is continuously developing work-in-progress drafts, which will be added to the compendium or standards. Links to the compendium, standards, and work-in-progress drafts are below.
